Each week at the Chico Certified Farmers Market, I set up a little table filled with post-it notes, painted rocks, trinkets, and, of course, strawberry hard candies. It’s a place where anyone can stop by to share a message, create a small piece of art, or take a thoughtful note to brighten their day. I’m always inspired by what happens at this table—kiddos often drop by to share their creations, and adults bring sweet offerings for their community members. But what truly warms my heart is the countless smiles shared each week, it truly is one of my very favorite parts of being at the market vending my handmade jewelry.
